Awhile ago (May of this year) I got some License Plate Frames for my car. A few weeks ago one broke on me (I accidently broke it) so i went without any frame for the 1st time since i got them for about 2 weeks. I got a new one for replacement and i was just wondering what you all think?

I will post the pic without the frames followed by the revisions of the frames. The latest revision does not have pics. Also do note that my plates are the old style. The frames look better on the new style plates.

NOTE: IDC about my plate being seen 1 because when i drive on the street its seen anyways. 2 being that my plates are 1 day from expiring (as of this post) It dont matter anyway. Ill be getting a new and a Specialty plate at that in a week or less. The state of MN allows you a 10 day grace period to make the registration current.

NO FRAME (after i broke the rear frame):

      Original mounting (back in may):

      Revision 1:

      Revision 2:

The frames look good. Plates are usually ugly so anything to give them some decor helps.

Maybe get some better looking screws if you can find them.

unfortunately, the bolts in the back are actually the best thing i have. I’m not gonna really waste money on something like plate screws. I like that they are bolts and not screws than you need a socket to remove them.

As far as the front plate goes same thing i am limted on screws as all the ones i have that are suitable are way too long.

Here is the Plate Frames with my new License Plates. Surprisingly it is much harder to attatch the Frames to the new DLPs. “Flat” License Plates.

            FRONT

            REAR

As a bonus here is the Impala with the same Frames on it:

            Front (BEFORE FRAME)

            Front (WITH FRAME)

            Rear (BEFORE FRAME)

            Rear (WITH FRAME)

            BONUS PICTURE:

In the state of Minnesota it is Illegal to have any plate frame that blocks the state name or obstructs the view of the plate. This picture shows that the Frame does not interfere with the Plate Lights.
