🙂 ’04 Silverado 1500, Westin side bars. Been chasing a rattle for something over two years. Finally found it. My son had been underneath greasing the drive shaft spline. He let it down on the jack a little hard… and we both heard it. Rattle coming from INSIDE the driver’s side step bar. Sometime in the past somebody had pried off the plastic cap on the end of the step tube, put in a bolt and some gravel, then put the cap back on. Got everything out by shoving an air hose all the way up, then giving it a blast of air. Got the idea from my proctology appointment. All better now.
