IF you have a diesel ford exursion (bad spelling) when you slam pedel and is makes that puring noise? what kind of engine is it

Un freaken believable this is still going on..
Can’t we just drop this ford vs chevy crap, this site is for ALL makes of vehicles
if we don’t like other makes we should just go to a forum for the make we do like.
I don’t like getting upset but this makes me mad.

Well, to answer the question… Both the 7.3 and the 6.0 were offered in the excursions as diesels. You could also get the 5.4L and 6.8L gas engines.
