Where the hell is the fog light switch on a 99 Beetle i cant find it anywhere!

Pull the knob on the headlmap switch out.

that knob only turns on the parking and dash lights it dont pull out and dont turn the headlights on

hmm, I guess I’m no help, a 03 was in the shop and worked like that, sorry i can’t help

I checked a few vw sites quick for ya. turn the headlights on and pull the switch out towards you. Found about ten result all like that. Maybe you have a bad switch?

no not a bad switch it only has one setting on the knob turning it turns on the parking lights and the dash lights its a simple on/off knob however the blinker switch if yo pull it toward you and hold it it turn the high beams on

my bad i never thought of trying the knob does pull out my fiancee tried it today but she dont think the fogs work

I was going to ask if you had them equipped and also if they were aftermarket. Since you’ve found the switch check the bulbs, they may be burned out.
