      I am planning on doing a body off restoration. The floor pans need to be replaced. Is it wiser to cut out and weld in new pans while still on the chasis ?

        Yes. Make sure its level and if ya use jack stands put them under the sprung parts. Make sure the suspension is settled after supported….Hope this helped.
