I’m having trouble with my turn signal for my 94 vigor. Unfortunately it is getting to a point, where all the parts are getting old. I drive the car daily to work and just feel comfortable driving it. When I switch to the left turn signal it makes like a buzzing noise and does not blink. If I use the right turn signal it does not blink and doesn’t have any sound at all. When I turn on the hazard light both of them flashes. I checked the fuse and they seem to be ok and check it with volt meter and it has continuity in the fuse. I have also replaced the fuse for the turn signal lights just to throw in a fresh fuse and I came up with the same results. I think my last resort is my turn signal switch/ hazard flasher relay. I bought the flasher relay at a local auto shop (Novita). Do you think this is comparable to the old flasher relay unit? I’d like to know if I should just invest on the oem flasher relay unit. I also wanted to confirm where this flasher relay is located. Is it on top of the interior fuse box? What I have tried doing is using a channel lock and trying to pull it off the fuse box, but somehow it is clamp down with something. Just wanted to ask for any advice on how you can replace the old one with ease. What tools to use? Thank you in advance for all your help.
