Welp I decided to start snooping around, I already replaced all 4 tires on my 00 Mercury Mountaineer V8.

in the 4 months back I changed my plugs and I didn’t mention I changed the wires aswell because when I removed the #5’s cylinders plug wire I ripped the terminal connector right out of the boot. and after about 2 months I was in line at the post office drop box when It started to shake a little so I killed the A/C and that helped when idling the next day I began to poke around and check the coil packs, both were fine I trailed the wires down and found one burnt a nice hole in on the exhaust so I replaced it back with the old and zip tied them up onto what is probably a fuel line and that fixed that.

last month I changed the rear tires FINALLY and they grip the road quite well so theirs now a complete set of 235/75R15’s

today I decided to poke around more about my EGR cel and I found out that the hose wrapped around the EGR which looked standard to me turns up not to be and was plugged with a screw, I trailed it to the EGR Pipe and turns up it goes to the DPFE attached to the back of the intake so after a bit of fighting I unbolted it inserted both lines correctly and rebolted it, now to just hope no CEL returns after I cleared it. if it does I guess I will be looking at a DPFE but I hope otherwise.

next on the list is saving up for upper ball joints, they don’t have play It doesn’t seem but they squeak from their grease boots being ripped off.. depending on budget im gonna try to get the uppers, lowers, and shocks changed maybe..
