I just purchased a dewalt 20v impact gun with battery and charger from a local pawn shop! It looked new and I am not sure how I worked on cars all these years with out this awesome tool!

        I definitely agree with you!

I bought my first one after watching the tech that works next to me using it on almost every job. He’s the fastest guy I’ve ever seen, so I decided to take a page out of his book and damned if it didn’t speed me up and make things easier too.

I have just purchased a corded 240v impact wrench – I won’t be using it that often being a DIYer, and a battery will go bad if not used regularly. Same reason for purchasee, speed. Took ages to do a ball joint on my car, as first the thing wouldn’t turn with a breaker bar, then I couldn’t get it to go back on, even with someone holding the hub. Then there were 2 rusty 18mm bolts holding the ABS which were in the way, and that took time to undo. I could of been in and out in 10 minutes like when I did the other side, but took well over an hour and a half!

Will be valuable when coming to do rusted on shock absorber bolts in the coming weeks.
