First pickup truck

So I got my first pickup truck, it’s a 95′ chevy K1500.
And I’m learning how it drives on the road.
(Since it’s bigger, i have to drive differently than i would in a car)
is there anyway to stop being so nervous while driving a bigger truck?

I really can’t offer suggestion outside of driving it more. The more you drive it the more you’ll get used to it. Trucks are fun.

They can be safer in some instances too. if its winter time, you can put sandbags, or even cat litter in the back and this can almost negate the need for 4wd in some parts of the country….and when summer rolls around an empty bed and a dirty road makes for some interesting, and fun low traction practice – BE CAREFUL

I’ve driven rather many vehicles,and honestly I feel better driving my truck than I do anything else but the gas…….WHEW! Many times just for that simple thought I’d like to own something economical too like a honda or toyota. But honestly,You will get the hang of it my friend,and you will one day look back at this and laugh 😆 And between you and I if the truck you’re speaking of is your profile pic,that’s a C1500. K1500 is mine and the difference being a C1500 is a 2wd whereas my K1500 is a 4wd.
