Hi All-
It’s been a while since I posted anything on ETCG but I just wanted to share some news-
Late last week, I met with the director of the Automotive Technology program at my local community college. I received a tour of the labs and classrooms and I must say, I was pretty impressed. My favorite had to be the Engine Overhaul and Rebuild Lab. Also, I was surprized (but happy) to see, as part of their automotive inventory, a Saturn Aura along with some Volkswagons, a few hybrids and even a Jaguar!
This morning, I stopped in on my favorite local independant shop owner to share the news. He seemed interested in being a part of my “Automotive Field Experience” training. so we shall see how this shakes out…all I can say right now is WOW! :cheer: banana:

Yeah, I was just looking at the course offerings. It is great to see weekend, evening and one or two distance learning classes available.
Automotive Engines is being offered as an evening class for the summer…wish I could get in on that one now but I think I will have to wait until Spring…oh well.
I’ll probably just stay with Eric (because you are right!). I did check on some local classes but right now the classes I would want to take can only be taken if I sign up for an entire 5-semester program and attend long classes at least 2 nights a week (because I work days, cannot take day classes). So… ERIC, WE NEED YOU! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Your disciples need you!
