So i finally got my cylinder head machined on my 1997 Honda Accord LX 2.2l 4cyl SOHC (155k miles).

So, on the intake side there is like a plastic gasket that is stuck to the head. Do i need to remove that?

Also, when i removed the rocker arm assembly to change the lower seals, i accidentally moved the camshaft, keep in mind this happened while the cylinder head was OUTSIDE the car, do i have to do something to put it back?

And also, there is black spots where i think my last head gasket left a spot, do i have to get it off? I straight edged my block, it is flat so should i do it?

I would say remove any gasket material left behind. You will need to line
the cam marks back up.also make sure the crank marks.

clean any old residue of gasket material. You want clean mating surfaces.
