Just to start off star trek is great but my name comes from my motorcycle.
I’ve been into wrenching for about 8 years now. From the time I got my license at 16 I haven’t been able to break this fascination with engines. My first love that I still have is my 1977 trans am. Shes a great old broad. My second horse that got me in to EFI was a POS 1996 ford Escort LX, great little turd. After that I got a 2000 Zx2 and poured money into it. Built the engine from the head out. Cams, boost, and a SVT intake manifold with SCT PRP tuning. Hit my goal of 230 horse with just about 10 PSI and called it good, no reason to have even that much with a FWD drive car IMO but hey it sounded cool! I’m in to my next project my 1993 Escort GT with a 1.8 Mazda BP. I’m slowly collecting suspension and turbo parts for that little guy.
My other passion is bikes! I have 2, a 95 FZR600 and a 97 CR500. Both a hoot 3 months out of the year here in Washington 😉 Ok more than that but I’m not always warm when I ride I can say that.
I’ve worked for myself repairing vehicles, then at a schwabbies for a few months and after that a Mazda dealership. I’m currently in the semi conductor manufacturing industry as it’s much easier on my body (I’m a earth moving 140lbs after a big meal) and pays for my obsession with shiny car parts.
