I know some of us have a certain tool we love to use or something y’all have that helps us do our job.

I picked up a load pro 100 from matco or load pro from ees which ever you want to call it. It’s made electrical diag for me much quicker and easier.

Just curious what you guys use or like a lot in your box for everyday work.

Mac micro turn metric wrenches. Can’t live without them. Many fasteners on ford Powerstrokes and Kubotas that would take much longer to get too if I didn’t have those. Can’t for the life of me understand why Mac discontinued them.

I also love my Cornwell swivel universal joints I find myself using them instead of wobble extensions, they work friggin awesome with electric impacts

I love my flex head fl80. I have it in the 3/8 and have a 1/4 snappy that I use on the daily also.

I will say I love my screw gun for trim/interior work. I put a 1/4″ bit driver in there and go to town.

I have found that matco finally carries a 21mm flex head/box end ratchet extra long. Not sure who makes it but man it makes doing alignments on silverados and Express vans much more bearable. Worth it’s weight in gold IMO.

I was told SK is coming out with a new super fine tooth ratchet wrench. Interested in seeing them when they come out. Would make some things a breeze in tight spaces to work with.

My Snap On THNF72 ¼” flex head ratchet and my Mac AR249 ¼” air ratchet both get treated like they’re ½” drive tools and as much as I feel lost without either of them, nothing has ever been more instrumental to me than my pocket flashlight and my pocket screwdriver. I get upset when I break a $100 ratchet; I get downright manic when I lose a $1 pocket screwdriver.

Currently my favorite for literally 99% of my work is my 1/4 battery ratchet and a dead tie is my 1/4 battery impact. They have some good torque but small enough to squeeze in some tight places.

I would say my favorite specialty tool is Bernzomatic Micro Torch Kit The bad reviews are from people who honestly have no clue how to use it properly. It has 2 cons 1 you have to light it with a lighter and 2 it comes without any butane. It is smaller in diameter and length then almost all soldering tools i have seen. Once you get the substrate glowing it stays lit very easily. You can adjust the flow on the back between 1-4 so if you are in a windy spot you crank it up to 4. It is still wind sensitive but, not as bad. I rarely use the tips or tip adapter and when i do its normally for circuit boards or to use it as a hot knife.

When you compare it to the Snap-On one that costs 150 bucks it completely decimates it. You can also get a heat shrink tip for one of the truck brands and trim the metal and shape it with pliers so it fits this one. Which is what i did though i have only used that twice and it was heat stuff in extremely tight harness’ Other then that I normally just use the straight flame. This one tool reduced my wire repair times to a third of what they were prior.

I use my 1/4” cordless impact more than anything in my box. God I love that thing.

Most frequently used tool = Milwaukee impact driver. Hands down one of the best tools I ever purchased.

Most frequently asked for tool = Miniductor induction heater. Flameless heat that could be precisely controlled. Especially awesome for loosening rusty nuts on exhaust and sway bars.
