I am under the impression that most anything to do with the Fox Body Mustang applies very closely to the Fairmont/Zephyr.
I am a big manual transmission fan, so I have changed a number of cars from auto to manual. Early on I learned that if you want a frustration free project, have the donor car close at hand during the project. There are almost always some small parts that will be very consuming to find if you don’t have the donor car. In this particular case, however, there is so much stuff on the aftermarket, I expect that you can have most everything in hand from catalogs.

I’m not sure I understand the question. Honestly I didn’t have time to watch the video but I’ve already built the transmission for the Fairmont.
don’t you mean rebuilt with a bad second gear and broken shift fork and several stripped/ damaged threads?

No awards. Did get alot of dirty looks when i pointed out my teachers mistakes tho…..lol

Mistakes? Are you saying I made a mistake with the transmission? Have you seen it installed in my Fairmont yet?
I believe we went through great pains in the video to mention I was going back in to replace those parts before putting it in my car. Is this somehow beyond comprehension? Or are you just trying to be a smarmy prick?
