expensive struts vs cheap struts

i am looking to change my struts sooner or later and am wondering if it makes a difference from cheap struts to expensive.

the vehicle is a 1993 GMC 1500 sierra 4.3 with 214k miles. i use this truck as a daily driver and light hauling

Not in all cases but most cases especially with aftermarket parts, the old saying you get what you pay for I think applies.

If you do any kind of hauling yo ur going to want better brand of struts and yeah I agree you get what you pay for aftermarket isn’t bad just make sure it can hold up to what your going to haul they don’t need to be the top of the line just don’t get as cheap as dirt
