Changing an exhaust system every year is definitely over the top and unusual. Most muffler shops offer a lifetime guarantee so I would ask for that. Perhaps you have something that is causing vibration damage, or perhaps it’s sequential component failure

What is the reason for exhaust changes every year? Rust??? Oil consumption? (have you monitored for a need to top off the oil per year)?_x000D_

As for your oil interval habits, the only way to know if what you are doing is fine is to get a Used Oil Analysis.
