      I only notice the noise after the engine has been shutoff.

        Try disconnecting

          This is a strange one and I haven’t run into anything like it in the past, I have some ideas but little experience with VW, therefore I’m going to defer this one to the forum to see what develops so keep us posted on your findings please.
