EVAP canister removal 2002 chrystler sebring

Hey all ,

I got my tank off and the leak detection pump has a small crack on the top. to replace it the caniste has to come off the tank but it has some weird attachments that i have no idea how to get off.

I also think i could seal of the crack with some high quality sealer of some type maybe rtv??

does anyone have any suggestions of a sealer that would hold up well.

my EVAP canister is on top of the gas tank which i have removed from the car. There are not any obvious bolts holding it down just the rubber looking things that secure it to a mounting bracket. The canister is mounted to a mounting bracket that it on the gas tank. I have all the hoses off and everything, i just dont wanna break it trying to remove it. The only way to get the leak detection pump off on this vehicle is to first take of the canister. I did some research and i think it may be held on by a rubber push pin???
