ETCG1 Video Suggestion – Car accidents

Hi Eric,

I don’t know if you covered this topic before, but I was wondering what has been people’s experiences with automotive accidents? Was it minor or major? How well did you handle said situation? Was anyone involved hurt in anyway? Did you learn anything from them? Did everything work out in the end?

I kind of got the idea for this after an experience that happened today. So I was returning home from the shopping center and I was stopped at set of traffic lights behind several cars just minding my own business when all of a sudden, THUD! It took a second to register what just happened I looked in my review mirror and sure enough I had been rear ended. So when lights changed green we turn into a nearby car park and inspected the damage, fortunately neither vehicle sustained much damage in fact the only real damage that I saw was a couple of broken clips on my car that held the top of bumper cover to the bumper. Even on the car that hit me I couldn’t see any noticeable damage. In the end woman who hit me apologized and we went on our way.

So a good outcome overall! I will admit though gave me quite a fright!
