      Eric:

I am a fan of the format of your ETCG1 series. Frankly, I appreciate your perspective on the various topics, each of which are important areas for discussion. The broader discussion items typical of the ETCG1 series should have commensurately broader audience appeal than, say, the proper coolant air-purge procedure.

Here’s a discussion topic for you to consider…

Take a moment and read the article by Bob Lutz here. Lutz soberly prognosticates a plausible future devoid of private automobile ownership, and where driving a car is no longer legal. He follows his prediction to its logical conclusion by forewarning the demise of the internal combustion engine and the atrophy of the services, industries, and entire corporations that evolved over the past century to support it.

The Lutz article is a startling read, not only because of the magnitude of his proposal and the audacity with which he proposes it. Lutz has the chops, credibility, and expertise to presage in such a way that it unsettles sensibility. His comments are made all the more tangible and legitimized by a succession of recent headlines that, at least incrementally, prove that Lutz may not be so far off his rocker.

As someone whose decades-spanning career is affected by Lutz’s somewhat gloomy portents about your trade, I’d like to see a video of your point-for-point commentary on ‘The Lutz Prophesy’. As far as I know, your’s would be the first of its kind.

I’ll have to check out the article, but I did put this video out recently.
