Just a suggestion, have you thought of making an app for the site .. I mean I’m on my phone and its hard ass Hell trying to type in the from via web page. You can also include videos and make a lil money on the side by doing this…

And remember

With a new attitude everything can change, make it how you want it to be, staying mad?, why do that…Give yourself a break, laugh about it & you’ll see that lifes what you make it.

I’ll have to look into what’s involved in doing this, to be honest I don’t have the first clue about how to put something like this together.

If the goal is to just make the site more “mobile friendly” there are a few rather simple tricks that go a long way for this. This should make it easier to get to the forum (http://www.luscarpa.com/development/mak … plication/), and this tip (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5488 … ds-browser) made my company’s site a lot more mobile friendly very quickly. I hope that helps.

I am all for making the apps, but other than being able to view the website, what functionality would the app bring, that the site lacks?

I am thinking along these lines, and feel free to add anything you would like to see:

1) A fast way to view Featured Videos
2) Faster way to watch videos
3) Faster way to watch/post to forum
4) Add in the search feature for looking up OBD codes, tools, parts and so on

If we just create an app that just brings up the website, I think we would not be gaining any real value…kinda like the Facebook app, if they built it just to bring up the devices web browser, that would be kinda lame.

ya i would like to see an actual app. not a just a mobile site. though a mobile site would be better than nothing. the app should be focused on the forum for posting replies and reading them as well as the search box for looking up codes and questions. the real value in the app i think would be the fact that if your outside working on your car and you need look up something such as a trouble shooting procedure that someone had posted then you could just pull out your phone and look it up right then and there compared to having to get access to a computer and either right it down, memorize it, or print it off. im always getting on Google and auto zone with my phone as I’m working on my car to look up wiring diagrams and repair procedures.

I think he would benefit by this … Hell I haven’t been on the pc for months… I’m always on the phone..
