I think the mini van is a great idea. We still have our 2000 grand caravan hanging around just because of the versatility that it provides. We don’t drive it as much now that the kids are bigger but it still comes in handy for a loaner or when company comes into town and we have to pick them up at the airport or head up to go skiing.
As far as the Jeep well I do like that they have paid my wages over and over keeping them on the road for customers. Living in Colorado we have more than our share of jeeps to work on. We have a different name for them here. Just Empty Every Pocket.
I have replaced quite a few broken valve springs on those engines what you are describing it sounds like a valve spring broke and it dropped the valve. Pulling the valve covers will tell you pretty quick. Anyway enough of my ramblings. I cant wait to see the Fairmont project get underway.I think you should give the Jeep to the Mythbusters, and get back to the Fairmont build. However that is just me, I will never have anything good to say about Jeep GC, I hated my Jeep. I wish you good luck on the jeep.

As I said in the video and many of the comments, I have every intention of building the Fairmont before I do anything with this Jeep. Thanks for your input.
