First question/post here!

I did a search to try to figure out what the root cause of failure was 2 weeks AFTER the frictions on 1 & 2 clutch packs were replaced due to slipping, but couldn’t find it.

What failed on the original tranny?, I understand that it got swapped with a warranted rebuilt one.

No, that won’t help college man, but thanks for the reply.

I was hoping that a teardown/post-mortem was performed to see what the
failure was after the all night clutch pack replacement.

I am curious as well. I heard the torque converters in those transmission were weak. I wonder if that might have had something to do with it.
