engine stalls easily when it didnt warm up

Hi again,

its another issue of my old little 96 Civic MT.
it has been like this since i bought it but i think you guys might know what is going on 🙂
if i start it without warm up for 3-4 minutes, engine tends to stall easily when i stop the car at traffic light. sometimes i can see the rpm drops gradually until it stalls and sometimes it just stall right away. i can start again the engine with ease though but the symtoms (low idling rpm) would stay for a while.

if i start the car and let it idle for 3-4 mins, it runs great for the whole day without the problem mentioned above.

is it just normal for old cars? or it can be fixed? if so, which part should i pay attention to? thank you very much!

thanks Eric. any idea on the component that circled in red on the picture? the USDM version doesnt have it. I dont know if i need to leave the screw loose or tighten it all the way up. please advise. thanks.

ok after some google it is the fuel pulsation damper. do you know if the screw on top of it is for adjustment purpose or its just to hold the cap on? the USDM service manual doesnt have this thing.

ok finally fixed the issue. it was the ignition coil that out of spec. it was 0.9ohm instead of 0.63-0.77 mentioned in the service manual. replaced it with a new OE coil and now the car works perfectly.
