      I’d check to see if you knocked a vacuum line loose somewhere on the intake tract, as a vacuum leak could cause your symptoms, as well as the P0171 code.

        +1 on the above posts, particularly for the vacuum leak._x000D_

        If you are suspecting a head gasket issue, you could always use a block tester to see if there are any combustion gasses in the coolant._x000D_

        I would also be checking for any air in the cooling sys

            Since it got hot I would check for air in the cooling system, here’s a video I did on that._x000D_

            I would also check the operation of the IAC valve, try tapping on it while the engine is running,
