      Hi Eric!

      In following your engine oil theme, I was wondering if you could make a video concerning engine sludge, what causes it, and how to avoid it from happening. I own a 2010 Toyota Matrix which I believe has a 1.8L 4 cylinder, and most of my driving is about 15 minutes to and from work and I’m concerned whether or not my car is subject to sludging up. I do my oil changes by my dealer schedule religiously, but I’ve heard of horror stories.

        I to wonder how it happens and what has been done to prevent it. I know it was a problem for a lot of the four cylinders from chrysler (mitsubishi engines).

          #1 cause is lack of oil changes. Also only driving short trips will cause it to build up faster. I would say just keep up on your oil changes and you should be good.
