Honda Accord LX 1996
A broken heater hose was replaced and the fluid was drained and replaced. Then, the idle changed. I followed the steps on a video “to bleed the radiator”. While traveling, the engine stopped while driving. I was able to crank and keep driving. After an hour, we stopped for a break and the car would not start. I checked to make sure the car has a spark. The car has new plugs and a new distributor and a good fuel pressure. could it be the fuel pressure regulator?…

when was last timing belt service?
if timing belt snapped, could sound like it’s gonna start but never does.
2 cents.Thank you all… Through a process of elimination, I discovered that it was the fuel pressure regulator. I was able to tap on it to restart the car when it cut off. I have replaced it and it runs beautifully! Thank you for all your suggestions.
