      Hey folks,
I’m about to be replacing the engine in my 08mustang GT
It’s got long tube headers and an overabundance of bolt on high performance accessories.
I bought the car like that so I have never pulled an engine in a late model mustang.
My question is, easier to pull engine and transmission together?
      Or drop transmission and pull?
      Any help would be appreciated.

uselly on rear drive cars I uselly you have to remove the whole front end to get the trans and engine out.. so I uselly just remove the egine by its self… but front drive cars alot of time you dont have egough space to do it.. you also have to remember there is the drive shaft that is connected between the trans and egine.. so sometime you get stuck anyways to remove it together

Yeah every time I have pulled an engine in a car with an automatic, it has been, brace up the transmission and pull the engine.
On a car with a manual transmission, it’s always been brace up the back of the engine, drop the transmission and pull the engine.
What drove me to ask is that I watched a video of a swap and the engine the guy had, still had the transmission on it.
Didn’t consider he might have disassembled the front clip
