Engine possible to fall of out of a car?

Is it possible for an engine or transmission to fall out of a car while its running and moving? :unsure: :huh:

yes it is possible, not likely allot of stuff has to be real bad for it to happen.

When I was in high school a friend had a Sanoma 4 cylinder. Both engine mounts were rusted out and the trans mount was bad also. The engine did not fall out, but rather it flipped on it’s side.

On the internet someone was having clutch problems. I suggested he look under while an assistant depressed the brake pedal to see if the slave cylinder was working. He wrote back asking if the transmission was supposed to move when the clutch pedal was worked. I don’t know if the transmission could have fallen out but it was loose on the engine.

I did see a bad wreck on the internet that resulted in the engine being ripped out of the car it was laying off to the side of the destroyed car
