Hey all. First time on here. Huge fan of etcg! I have a 97 tahoe and replaced the waterpump today. I did everything eric did in his how to video and it went great. Only problem is, after everything was said and done, when i went to bleed the system, i saw it was overheating. The thernostat housing was hot to the touch but the upper hose was not. Idk where to go from here. From what i gather it could rither be an air pocket right before the thermostat or a bad thermostat. What can i do besides throw a new thermostat at it if its not that? Or what else could it be?

Or it could be bad water pump. Rare, but happens. Can you spin the water pump by hand?
