Engine jerks when changing gear 1st to 2nd

Hii All,

I’m using a Mazda 323 YOM 1999. engine is B3.
for the last two years i was unable to rectify the issue. I have replaced a genuine plug wire set also.
All engine mounts checked and in good condition.

Any idea how to rectify?

did this start suddenly or develop slowly? have someone inspect the clutch fully including the brake and clutch fluid, also check your air intake hoses for cracks this has been known to cause this jerking.

This was developed slowly. i did an engine diagnose as well but could not find any error codes either.
Engine runs very smoothly when its in idle. (RPM 750). but if i accelerate it to 1200 1400 and release jerks starts again.

And also if i keep the 1200 rpm continuously again it’s starts the jerk. at high rpm above 2000 engine runs normally. changed a new throttle body from another car thats runs smoothly to check and issue still exits.

Problems like that are often ignition related. You might check your plugs and wires. You might also check for vacuum leaks. More information, including videos on both tests mentioned, can be found here.

yep i think i have found the issue. engine plugs and the plug wires( Genuine wire set – 120 USD) are new.
My security system was not functioning so bought a new one and fixed it. there was a connection to the ignition wire and the ACC wire through a relay.( for the new system also it has the same wiring for the passive immobilizer) when i replaced the relay problem was sorted 95%. i have used the relay which came with alarm system but i think if i use a denso relay this issue will completely eliminate.

have you ever experienced anything like this?
