need help friend ;

oooo god what is the case……………………….i just have a litter misfire on my engine a think is cable problem or compression check !…… having problem on engine stumbles on acceleration on cold and hot , nooo code on check engine ……

what is the case 😕

2002 ,3.0 v6 engine Ford escape

coil cop
exhaust system
catalytic converter
Engine main cable for ,injector,coil,sensor.
vacuum leak

could be a maltitude of things causing your issue…

first i would give a simple visual inspection, look under the hood, start the engine up and check for vacuum leaks see if there is anything out of place

if not check the condition of your spark plugs and if possible run a spark test on each cylinder…

if not that, then check fuel system pressure…

if not that run a system compression test.

i cannot tell you out right what your issue may be as there is a multitude of things that can cause a missfire. good luck 🙂

If the car has a fuel filter I would change it.
check fuel pressure. the throttle body clean.

Well you definitely have spark, so I suspect it is a fuel delivery issue. Start with the cheap parts. Change the fuel filter first, and if that fails, check or replace your fuel pump. I don’t think this is a fuel injector issue, but that may be worth looking into as well. There is also a chance you may have a bad electrical sensor somewhere, but if there is no OBDII code, then this is pretty unlikely. Good luck!

well today i found doing a test with 6 coils and i found num #-5 piston bad coil
and check fuel pressure is a 62 psi that’s a normal pressure.

well today iam going to buy new coils

You are most likely on the right track. Coils were crap on those engines. Also make sure the plug wells are dry and not full of oil.

don’t understand this coils !!!

ford escape have 6 coils cop and when i use my multimeter to measure current resistance or ohms on all coils it sad, 0.8 … in all coils, but num # 5 its bad nooo curret spark on it . …i just want to now what is my confused of this measure and why she don’t work and the others works..? 🙁

The ohm test does not really work. The best way to test
coils is with a spark tester.switch one of the known working
coils for the one with no spark. see if it fires.

Don’t understand this Coils!!! Each spark plug has a coil on it.

If each plug has a coil. then its cop coil on plug.
what are you not understanding. There is a firing order.
