        Quoted From dreamer2355:

        Welcome to the forums!

The milky residue is a common issue with those 2.0 ABA motors. Its basically condensation build up around the oil filler cap. It happens alot in the colder months.

One way to avoid this is to take the vehicle on lengthy trips as using a vehicle for short trips only will also cause the above to happen more frequently. You need to make sure the vehicle gets up to operating temperature to burn off any condensation in the oil system.

As for the engine not breathing correctly, what exactly do you mean? Did you use a vacuum gage and see incorrect vacuum readings? Do you suspect an issue with the PCV system?

Thanks for the post man, I learned something new today.

If you take a lot of short trips in the cold weather, you’ll get condensation built up on the oil cap on ANY engine.

^ I think that is normal

It is like leaving a Ice cold glass of coke in a warm room too long

The glass gets condensation on it.

                  Never ‘assume’ anything.

What do you mean you have oil pushing into 2 cylinders? Are you referring to oil leaking into the cylinders due to gasket failures or even worn valve guide seals?

Yea I think we need a little more information if you can offer it. If you suspect that the engine is consuming oil the best place to start is with a compression test or better yet a leak down test as these tests will give you a clear picture of the engine’s mechanical health, here are links to some videos that will help you better understand these tests.
