Electrical Problem – FORD E-250

VEHICLE: FORD E-250 YEAR: 2006 ENGINE: GASOLINE 4.2 L KM: 104,542.90 KM

PROBLEM:

LARGE PASSENGER SIDE LIGHT ONLY COME ON WHEN THE HIGH BEAM IS ON.

WHAT WAS DONE :

– CHECKED INDIVIDUAL FUSES UNDER THE HOOD WITH A TEST LIGHT

– FUSE 20 WAS OUT. REPLACED FUSE 20 NO CHANGE IN CONDITION.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR ? THANKS.

The head light is a two stage light.meaning hi and low
are in the same lens.(sealed beam)The low beam is probably burned out.
does the drivers side work?

Hey.Thanks for the message. The driver’s side light works. Do it mean I have to change the entire assembly for the light ? Please let me know.

Are you relating to the head light or the turn signal light?

I am going to assume the head light.

If so i believe that vehicle uses a 9007 dual filament bulb. One of those filaments is probably burned out, thats all.

Your welcome.glad it worked out.Btw- you may want to change
the other side.The new one will be brighter and the old could
blow tomorrow. 😉
