Has anyone seen a video that did a comparison on the different electric impacts? I’m in the market for a 1/2 and 3/8th and want to see someone compare the DeWalt and the Milwaukee guns. Both seem pretty awesome spec wise and I’ve seen individual reviews, but I like to see which one is better before I buy.

I have Milwaukee cordless tools and recommend all of them. And yes I love the 3/8impact I have. I just bought the 12v vacuum and want to buy all the stuff they sell after seeing how good it is.

Milwaukee m12 and m18 are great. I have owned dewalt and Milwaukee and used both professionally, and I would take the Milwaukee hands down every day.

It really comes down to product range I went with Milwaukee because of there diverse product range buying bare tools is a lot cheaper than the full sets.

The m12 impact is my favourite so powerful for a little 12v perfect for running things down and undoing bolts under 15mm the m18 1/2 is a bit bulky especially with an xc battery pack compared to it’s air gun equiv but that can be said for all electric impacts.

My most used are the m12 3/8th and the m18 3/8th the m18 gen 2 fuel is awesome but the older model is still very good and a very reasonable price.

The 3/8 ratchet with the 12v is pretty neat. Not much power, but useful never the less. MUCH better than an Air Ratchet, to me, but quicker than a regular.

I’m leaning towards the Milwaukee because of the 1/4 ratchet.

I also really like the cordless hacksaw they have.

Just wanted to check out if the Dewalt was considerable more powerful or more user friendly..Which it doesn’t seem to be

Remember guys if your electric tools are not under warranty any more if you are good with electrical or know someone who is. Fixing the battery packs is normally not too bad. If you are careful you can pop it apart and type the numbers on the individual batteries into google and find a place to buy replacements. You then have to desolder and/or cut and splice the new packs in and toss the old. If you have to desolder i recommend using desoldering braid.

I personally stay away from battery operated tools as a preference.
