E’brake & seat belt adjustments

2003 Frontier XE extended cab 2.4 engine …….. Do I really have to disconnect + & – cables from batt, plus unplug air bag just to tighten emergency brake cable? And what about same for seat belt tensioner adjustment? Sounds a little overboard for safety!

No need to disconnect anything. The seat belts are self adjusting.
you can inspect them for wear or smooth operation but thats about it.
