Working on my project car again and I got genuine Honda parts off eBay. They are basically unused, but the posting was wrong. it listed 94 accord, but it is an 04 accord. There was photo of the part number but i did not check.
Is there anyway this will fit a 1991 SE?

What should I do? The cost of shipping makes it not worth disputing? I got them cheap. They have less than 5k miles on them. Any one know what there worth?

      Thanks

Sorry, but unless you have a cutting torch, cut-off wheel, grinder, and welder, there is no way. Even if the top mount fits, they are most likely the completely wrong length, but most importantly the bottom that fits to the hub is completely wrong. And I’m guessing it is that “drag link suspension” so you won’t be able to change the hub.
I recommend reselling them on e-bay or craigslist. You’ll save money and time this way.

Agreed, resell them to someone who can use them.

I have found KYB GR2 struts to be a decent after market replacement assuming that you are at stock ride height. If you have lowered the car, they very likely won’t be adequate, but then again, neither would the OEM Honda pieces.

The GR2’s often sell for around $50 a piece, which is not a bad price for struts. You would have to reuse your existing rubber bits, and springs on them.

Resell them. You’re never going to get them to work on your vehicle. OE Honda struts are by far the best for your vehicle but given it’s age I wouldn’t fault you for going aftermarket. The ride will not be the same however.

            Good luck.
