I have a 1990 ford ranger 4.0 v6. I am trying to change the rear brakes, but I’m struggling to get the drum off. The adjustment screw is siezed, so I drilled out the rivets on the back, I tried to wiggle the drum off with no luck. Then i unbolted the wheel cylander, again with no luck wiggling it off. Then I tried to straight pry it off, I got it past the end of the hub, but can’t get it any farther off. Anyone have suggestions?

Have you tried cutting the hold down nails?

        Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6jpNC6emOQ

That was the video that I was trying to replicate. By rivets I meant “hold down nails”.
