Driver side power window problem

Hey there I have a 1994 GMC silverado truck and my problem is that when I roll down the driver side window it will sometimes stop and make a noise like its stalling. And it will also roll down with no problem at all at times. If I help it go up with my hand it will go up no problem. Just put a new switch in and still makes the stalling sound kinda like binding. Im stumped.

Remove the door panel and check the window regulator. You can then operate the window
and see whats going on.

I did that sir, it still goes up and down but still makes the stall sound. If i help pull it up with my hand it works when it stalls. Im thinking i should just replace the darn regulator and motor all at once and call it good.

What you could do is disconnect the motor and see if you can push the regulator up and down
to see if it operates smooth if so then its the motor.
