Drive cycle 2002 kia sedona

Eric, I just purchased a code reader (Autel maxiscan 300 O.B.D. 2) not clear about Drive Cycle. I was told my M.A.F. sensor was bad and possibly the catalytic converter. I cleaned the M.A.S. with cleaner specifically for that sensor. Two days later my Check engine light came back on. I wanted to check the code again to make sure it’s still the M.A.F. sensor prior to replacing it. After I check the code do I have to perform a drive cycle . It consist of 17 steps and yet the shop that diagnosed this for me didn’t do a drive cycle. Thanks, Jerry
