      Just changed the timing belt/accessory drive belt and tensioner on 08′ Honda Pilot, J35Z1 engine. Everything runs normal and correct parts; however, the accessory drive belt has migrated to the outer edge of top pulley-flush to the edge. When I start the engine, the top pulley and belt bounces then is steady. The belt was centered on the pulley when I installed it. What is causing this?

        check that the belt and routing are correct. something is not
        straight or lined up.

          I removed the drive belt, and discovered the large attaching bolt to the bottom pulley, (pictured above), was loose! I remember torquing that bolt too. Well I put the old tensioner back on with Locktite. It doesn’t bounch anymore ether…rides solid. banana:
