            Thank you the information.

The following are step 2 and 3 of the instruction. It does not make sense to run the engine while refilling with new CVT fluid.

This procedure sounds like a flush instead of drain and fill.

            2. Drain CVT fluid from CVT fluid cooler hose [outlet side (1)] and
refill with new specified NISSAN CVT fluid in the CVT fluid
charging pipe with the engine running at idle speed.

            3. Refill until new CVT fluid comes out from CVT fluid cooler hose [outlet side (1)].

I found a procedure to drain and fill the Nissan CVT fluid.
              http://my6thgen.org/f107/how-change-your-cvt-transmission-fluid-drain-refill-3264/

I am going to look for the hex drain plug before buying 5 litres of Nissan NS2 fluid at C$30 per litre.

The procedure that I sent is a full fluid change.
if you feel more comfortable doing a drain and refill.
                Then that works to.:)

I am not fully understand that flush procedure.

Do I have to pour in the CVT fluid while the engine is running?
Would it damage the transmission if the transmission has only half of the fluid or I am not fast enough to fill the transmission with the new fluid?

The transmission wouldn’t be spinning, they want the engine running so the pump is on circulating the fluid as soon as it can.

Actually many transmissions of that type need to be running when you fill them. If not the fluid will not be at the proper level when you fill it. Given your trepidation I would suggest having the fluid changed rather than attempting it yourself. If you don’t do the procedure correctly you might end up replacing the transmission. It would be less expense in the near and long term if you had this service done by a professional. Preferably one with experience with those transmissions.
