      hi all
      i have kia soul 2011 1.6 crdi imported from korea
      one i bought it i chane oil the service shop say its take 5-30 oil 5.5 litre

      and then the disaster start its stall alot no movment enen if i press the paddle to the ground

      so i keep press the paddle until its come back check by the computer and nothing show up
      things

      i checkd

      injectors remove and test 100% workings

      fuel filter
      fuel tank very clean

      lastly advised by Hyundai technician to change oil and add the right oil capacity

      and check the car by dedicated Hyundai scanner it work well for KIA and say the problem with dpf filter

      and start a cleaner process from the computer
      what i notice a huge improvement

      any help i will appreciate

        Do you live in the united states? Europe? If europe you’re toast and have to deal with emissions laws. DPF’s that get clogged are a major problem here in the states. It’s less of an issue in europe but it still happens. Clogged dpf can cause these symptoms as its an exhaust restriction. I’d leave it to the pros. These new diesels are seriously complicated.

          i live in the middle east palestine, west bank
          about the regulation its alot less restrictive for emissions

          so any idea i can work it

          how to start the generation process manually insted using the special computer programe

          plz amake an episode about pdf and generation

            Gut it. Simple fix. DPF’s or diesel particulate filters catch the unburned soot from diesel. It’s more pronounced in dirty diesel. More so in low sulphur diesel. you have to use ultra low sulphur diesel to avoid it. But just take the dpf out and drill 8-12 holes in it about 3mm around. Should stay unclogged. If that is your problem. I would say to use a vacuum gauge but diesels don’t generate vacuum. Just check around google about Dpf issues on ford f250 6.4l and 6.7l diesel trucks as well as many american market European design vehicles. VW jetta tdi etc. They all have dpfs and due to dirty diesel fuel they clog quite quickly.

              Hello 🙂
              The dpf regeneration starts by itself when engine is hot, and you drive it in some speed.. so take it for a trip and drive little hard..
              it uses a differential pressure sensor to see pressure before and after dpf. there you can test with pressure gauge and see if its clogged..
              what was the code that you read?
              and use engine oil for dpf.. (ACEA C2 or C3)
              i see 5.3 l with filter change for that engine.

                but what about computer regeneration

                the computer programe daignoser have a spftware that can do a regeneration
                how to start it without special software while the car stop

                  yes you can start it with computer, but engine then too need be at at least 70-80 degree celsius.
                  without i really think you cant.
                  Does the car start and idle? have you check function of differential pressure sensor? becouse if it read wrong you could have a car that not will run..

                    the mechanic i used to go to his garage
                    take me and car and go to mechanic used to work for hyundai previously its kia but both the company use the same parts and software he try the car and hook the car with a laptob connect to obd and checj every thing and say the dpf gases give high reading so propaply the proplem from it and start software the make the idle rise to 2000 rpm and the exahsust reach about 500 celcius all in the reading and keep it for about 15 minutes and finish

                    after that a big improvments but its happend some times

                    not in idle but while driving the paddle stop working push it couple times and work agine the mechanic the presure in the pdf prevent the turbo from working as safty feature

                      ok.. i really would use a pressure gauge on hoses that goes too differential pressure sensor, and see if dpf is really glogged.. there goes two hoses to it, on comes from before dpf and one after dpf.. read both side and see .. it could be a starting too fail pressure sensor too, when it get hot it fail..

                        Ok. Heres a really stupid way to clean out the dpf without regen. Foot to the floor on a backroad somewhere and get it moving then brakes not all the way just load the engine a lot. Or just do way over the speed limit to really get the exhaust hot. Or go with the other option and drill it. Simplest way and most effective. It’ll trip the computer into thinking it’s still running like it should be and will just let the exhaust through. Granted emissions go up slightly but if you have no emissions requirements then have at it. I know everyone is going to get mad at me for this but hey It’s the most reliable cheapest way. I’ve done it a couple of times with one check engine light on a vw.

                            something weird happened i press the paddle until the rpm reach 5 less than one minute the car rpm drop down to 2.5
                            try its many many times and keep maybe its safty feature that keep happend
