      1. Wipers won’t stop once I turn them on.
      2. I’m not getting any fluid to the windshield.

I have a 90’s chevy silverado 1500. Figuring both a pump and the circuit board part on the motor?

The pump is a separate system from the wiper motor. However, they do share the same switch assembly. A good course of action would be to start by sourcing a wiring diagram and confirming the switch’s function. From there you can then go onto testing the other parts as necessary.

Couldn’t I just replace the switch assembly instead. If it gets to electrical things I’ll probably just take it in somewhere. As much as I like DIY, it can end up a wild goose chase and tons of time sometimes.

You could, but once it’s out a simple multimeter and a wiring diagram should allow you to test it’s function.

You can yourself some money on the part by confirming that it is good and then take it to a shop.
Or confirm it is bad, replace it and be happy.
