My 2000 Toyota Sienna minivan suddenly developed a leak in one of the hard brake lines that run to the rear brakes at the undercarriage where the line rusted through. A very scary experience when it happened.

I am researching on fabricating new brake lines with a flaring and bending tool but google searching mostly comes up with two types of flares- double flare and bubble flare. Which is the correct one used on my toyota?

Also, will I be able to bleed these brakes without a scan tool due since that part of the hydraulic system is likely completely empty now? (This van has ABS).

      Thanks in advance…..

Usually a double flare is used.
