Dorman QD connectors for Ford Heater Hoses

I recently purchase some Gates replacement heater hoses for my 2000 Ford Expedition 5.4L. My rig has the aux heat/air as well – more pain ! The OEM parts come with quick disconnects that attach to the heater core & the lines that run to be back heater core. The Gates replacements do not come with these QD fittings but I purchased some dorman QD connector ends from amazon. I used hose clamps to attach the QD’s onto the hoses. I gotta say it worked pretty well and saved me some big money compared to the ford parts (about 220 bucks for the pair !) I got into the hoses for less than 100 bucks.
