Hello forum, my question for you is i have noticed that my drver side striker bolt is kinda worn out. Is replacing it just as simple as remove and put a new one back in. I dont know what is behind on the other side of the bolt is something held in place on the body frame?

It should just unbolt. To check if the bolting plate is welded there. remove one
fastener and loosen the other to see if the back plate moves or feels loose. I
believe its tacked in place if not you will need to remove the panel to get behind
there. If the striker is worn thats a sign that your door pins/bushings may be worn
causing the door to sag. Which will destroy the striker. check the bushings and pins.

Thanks college man. As for the door pins the door doesn’t sag or move up and down at all. Or am i wrong?

Usually the striker does not wear out/wear unless misalignment occurs. With the door
open pick up on the door and watch the pins and bushings for movement. Keep us posted
            on your progress. 🙂
