I am attempting to remove and replace a fuel pressure regulator on a 1988 Ford E-350 chassis motorhome. Because the bolts are threaded from the underside I can’t see what I am doing so it is by feel. After some time of trying to find the right wrench I found that it is indeed a allen head but can’t seem to get the right fit. Not sure if it is a allen or torx head. Does anyone know if this is a metric, standard , or torx and what size. I am real concerned about stripping this out and then the real nightmare will start. HELP.

My ways of figuring this out would be quite primitive but i would stick my phone down there to try to take a picture of it or i have a little extendable mirror with LED lights to see in tight spots and im shocking at stripping bolts i stripped my sump plug of all things which i used a pair of multi grip locking plyers , vice grips etc whatever they are called where you come from if u just wanted to put a new bolt in it you could use a set of those but they destroy the bolts with there teeth

I like the picture idea. You need to identify the fastener.
If standard does not work try the metric.
