Was driving home and soon as I pull in to park I started hearing a squeaking sound that I immediately attributed to a belt.

Pop the hood and the noise was evidently coming from the distributor which is opposite end of all accessory belts.

I know the bearings can go bad, but I’m wondering how long do I have before needing to replace? Or is it an issue that needs addressing asap? Car is a 98 civic ex.

This distributor has already been replaced I believe in 2010/2011 by an autozone part.
