I’m having problems where my engine cuts out during idle or coming to a stop. I cleaned the fuel throttle body, added a new air filter, replaced the spark plugs and wires. My guess now is that it’s either dirty fuel injectors or bad fuel pump/filter. The vehicle runs great (no misfires) while throttling it, but as soon as it comes to idle is when it stalls the engine. Is there a way (from home) to eliminate the problem being either dirty fuel injectors or a bad fuel pump/filter? What are the differences between the two?

Thanks in advance for any help, or advice.

Once the car warms up, it runs fine idling while parked, but when I put it in gear is when it begins to stall, and then when I press on the accelerator it feel like something is not not right, like a delay in acceleration, but that might be because the engine is beginning to stall out before I hit acceleration. I don’t notice this delay while throttling in park.

I put in STP Fuel Injector Cleaner…

How did you come to the conclusion that it’s a dirty fuel system? What are your fuel trims at idle, 2000, and 4000 RPM? Any CEL/codes?

What is your idle RPM when you are park while the transmission is in Drive? I am having a doubt it is an idle relearn issue.
